We all know how hard it is when you are first starting out... Everyone has an opinion, and everywhere you look you will find websites offering (for a price) to teach you all you need to know.
Its difficult to find responsible, trustworthy people to help you find your way. The "pagan" section of the bookstore can be confusing all by itself!
That's one of the reasons we designed this web site. It can be overwhelming trying to wade through the hundreds of books and web sites out there, not knowing which ones are worth the cost (in the case of the books or online courses) or effort. So much information, so many contradictions. And some of the info out there is just that - really out there, and not much help to a grounded person just trying to learn more about paganism.
We're happy to help. Our online mentoring and forums are not designed to replace a serious course of study spanning the gamut of learning through books or other resources as a solitary practitioner, through a degree program offered by a local coven, or a progression through the practice with a grove or kindred. What we can do is help you steer your way to know what your options are, to answer initial questions or to direct you to more detailed resources.
In addition to a Teen Mentor for you younger practitioners, we are also drawing on the wisdom and experience of a variety of leaders within the pagan community, across the many paths. The goal of our mentoring is to help you find your way, NOT to recruit you into one of our own groups.
