Behind the Scenes at RI Pagans.com... Friends!

Lorna Steele has been a practicing pagan for over 30 years, with experience in Druidry, Shamanism and Wicca. Lorna started her professional life as a classical archaeologist, living and working overseas, but traded in her ostraca for animals. She is now a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and runs Healing Paws, a wildlife facility on the East Bay of Rhode Island. Lorna also works for the Mystic Aquarium Stranding Team and does seal rehabilitation in their facility. Lorna is an avid quilter, photographer, sketcher and writer. Her life goals include not eating her young, someday having a garden that doesn't go to the woodchucks, having her children's book published, and learning to play the bagpipes.
Joni Rae Latham is a proud kitchen witch, wife, momma, homeschooler and henna artist. She has worn various granola-mom badges in the past: babywearing, clothdiapering, and co-sleeping, to name a few. Joni Rae has three beautiful children, Hannah (born Dec 1997) Patrick (born June 2004) and Willow (born June 2006). Joni Rae has been a practicing witch for over twelve years. When she is not working on this website, Joni Rae loves reading, drawing, cooking, gardening, and working on the book she is writing with her hubby.
James Latham was born in Tulsa Oklahoma, (and thus prone to sudden urges to wear cowboy hats), but he was raised in England for 32 years. James has been back in the US for seven years now, and will be celebrating his sixth anniversary with his wife Joni this Mabon. Dedicated in 1988, he considers himself a "witch". When not spending time with his wife and three children, James spends his days as a long distance truck driver. He loves to play Texas Hold'em in his spare time, and aspires to one day win the World Poker Tour. His friends appreciate his sense of humour, but hope to never be caught naked on a train to Paris with him while holding a stuffed donkey.
Teena Sierra is an aspiring writer, researcher, philosopher, and musician. She owns nothing but the ground sticking to her shoes, an old acoustic guitar, a worn compostion notebook, and a much loved library card. Teena is a Dianic Green Witch and has been practicing for about three years. She is the adopted little sister of Joni Rae and James and is working hard to eventually become a CNM (certified nurse-midwife). She loves poetry, writing and playing guitar.
